why couldn’t you move together?
The RAs won’t side with us, and they’re the ones who approve room changes. If we’re the ones who say we can’t live with her, we have to deal with the consequences of moving. Moving together would mean changing the living situation of at least three (but probably four) people in addition to ourselves, because I need my own bedroom. (With my electric wheelchair and stuff, I take up more than half the room, which wouldn’t be fair for a roommate.) The only way it would work is if we could find a room of people who are 100% on board, and that’s not happening—especially because we’d have to tell them why we want to move. (“Hey, want to switch rooms? You could live in our room with our hellish roommate! Doesn’t that sound fun?”)
